I offer various telehealth services for

therapists seeking licensure,

immigrants & asylum seekers, &

those who feel alone or unsupported.

What are you looking for help with?

Clinical supervision

Are you an up-and-coming counselor

looking for a clinical supervisor you can connect with?

As a board-approved supervisor in Minnesota and South Dakota (other Midwest states coming soon), I provide a solution-focused, feminist-theoretical approach that is rooted in multicultural humility.

I believe you are the expert of your life, and your experiences shape the guidance you need. I will listen and support your development in whatever ways are most helpful for you.

The ideal supervisor doesn’t just help you get your license.

She empowers you to be the best therapist you can be.

Immigration evaluations

If you are dealing with an immigration legal case,

you need a therapist to provide an expert mental health assessment.

In the past decade, I have worked with hundreds of immigrants, asylum seekers, people of color, and non-native English speakers. My heart is to help everyone feel at home here in the Midwest.

As a licensed counselor, I provide immigration diagnostic assessments and asylum evaluations that help my clients settle their legal matters and begin a safe new chapter of life.

You’ve gone through a lot to get here.

Now, let’s get you to a place of true security and freedom.

Mental health counseling

Sometimes, life is just overwhelming.

Let’s make it more manageable and make sure you have support moving forward.

Since 2014, I have provided clinical mental health counseling with an emphasis on trauma, stress, cultural barriers, and intersectionality (which factors in all the various identities you have) for primarily teenagers, communities of color, and those who belong to religious minorities.

I value authenticity, connection, collaboration, and confidentiality with my clients. Whatever you are dealing with — trauma, discrimination, family conflict, or a new phase of life — I will do my best to understand, empower, and support you on your healing journey.

My theoretical orientations include solution focused therapy, and a feminist approach. Focusing on clients’ strengths, while validating contexts of the issues at hand, is a balance I strive for.

If you’ve ever felt alone, afraid, or misunderstood

there is hope for you. And I’d like to help you find it.

Frequently asked questions

  • I have been working in the clinical mental health counseling field since graduating from St. Cloud State University in 2014. After studying political science in undergrad at South Dakota State University, I realized I want to help people today, not 20 years from now with laws and policies.

In the decade since I became a clinical mental health counselor, I have found great passion in helping people and communities that typically feel misunderstood, overlooked, or underserved.

  • I do not accept insurance at this time. Unfortunately, reimbursement rates for therapists are unsustainable, and the chances of "clawbacks" from insurance companies would inevitably lead to raising rates anyway.

By setting a standard rate, I am able to offer maintainable services for clients.

  • I am currently licensed as a mental health counselor in five states: Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Georgia. I am also board-approved for clinical supervision in Minnesota and South Dakota, with more states coming soon.

My broad licensure allows me to be a consistent provider in my clients’ lives, even as they move across state lines. Wherever you live, I will help you find options that suit you best.

  • I am offering only virtual services at this time. That means I am able to see you anywhere I am licensed via a secure telehealth platform. This is also an effort to reduce the overhead costs of a small business, so as to keep prices for mental health services reasonable.

  • After you fill out my contact form, I will review your information and reply via email within 72 business hours. I offer a complimentary 15-minute telehealth consultation for new clients.

If we mutually decide we’d like to work together, I will send you various intake forms to complete before our first meeting. At that two-hour diagnostic intake session, we will review your social history, symptoms, and suggested treatment plan.

From there, most clients see me on a weekly/biweekly basis for 30, or 60, minutes per session. However, the frequency, duration, and content of all future sessions will be personalized to you.

  • I currently have availability if you are seeking clinical supervision, an immigration evaluation, or clinical mental health counseling. Please inquire here for my current availability. Please keep in mind new clients must participate in a two hour diagnostic assessment to begin clinical mental health counseling.

  • We won’t know until we meet, will we? I’d love for you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation, where we can get to know each other a bit. If I’m not the right therapist or supervisor for you, or if there are areas where you need a different expertise, I am happy to help you find an appropriate referral in your area.

  • One-time15 minute consultation- free

2 hour diagnostic assessment- $275.00 one-time per calendar year

    50 hour session- $110.00 (ongoing)

    30 minute session- $80.00 (ongoing)

Phone calls longer than 20 minutes- $20.00
